Would you like to get more involved with Teachers TV?

Become an Associate to get actively involved in Teachers TV; share ideas, receive regular updates, suggest new programmes, plus get sneak previews of new programmes and new features on our website.

Get to know other members through their profiles and blogs – and add your own. The Associates is Teachers TV's online community and its all free. Weekly updates include next week's schedule of programmes, information about future events and news of our regular competitions to win memory sticks, DVDs and bottles of champagne – all free to enter.

The scheme is open to anyone involved in education who is already registered with Teachers TV

You'll find all the latest information on the regularly updated Associates home page and can access all the content through the special Associates menu on the right-hand side. Find out about new features when they're added to the site and be the first to try them out.

Have your say

There are plenty of ways to tell us and other members what you think. You can join our forums, email us with your views on programmes and give us your feedback through our regular surveys and polls. We really value your opinions and Associates' input is shared across the whole company.

Sneak previews

Each week, you'll be given a sneak preview of new programmes before they reach the channel, giving you the chance to find out about interesting new series and themed weeks. You can also add your comments and share insights with others.

CPD

Do you find Teachers TV a useful resource for your work in schools? We are continually looking for new ways to enhance the usefulness of our programmes. Pilot projects to aid professional development, new tools and other resources are available to Associates.

Get involved with programmes

There are various ways to get involved with Teachers TV programmes: take part in series like Ease the Load and Teaching with Bayley and get professional advice on a range of issues from classroom behaviour to finding the right work/life balance; or contribute to Be the Commissioner and, if your idea proves popular, see your programme go into production.

Special events and conferences

Inside the venue at BETT

Join us at major education events like BETT, the Education Show and union conferences, where Associates help out on our stand and meet other educators interested in learning more about Teachers TV. We also arrange events in conjunction with regional TV production companies where you can meet other Associates and have an influence on future programmes.

I run courses for Teaching Assistants and support workers and inform each group about Teachers TV as part of their training. I hand out a copy of a weekly schedule and talk about some of the programmes that previous students have found interesting.
