Synopsis

An insight into the experiences of Ben who, diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as a child, is now helping others to understand his often misunderstood disorder.

Ben has been treated differently for most of his life, spending many of his school days in the corridor, in detention or in suspension. One teacher, Mark Stracey, saw a dynamic and capable mind and gave Ben the support and belief in himself that he desperately needed.

Find out how Ben acts, and discover how he is treated by those around him.

sna...should see this

adhd/odd getting more widespread, all sna's should watch this!!!

brilliant, informative and entertaining!

I really enjoyed this insight into ADHD. I would have loved the film clip to have more in-depth coverage about how Ben approaches tutoring kids with ADHD as well.

I need to get mine wright.

As much as it was funny in places it just shows how sad it is for all involved. My brother happens to be the same age and has the ADD not ADHD but all the same traits are there how Bens family life is like thats the same for my bother but looking at it at least they talk. My four year old son my have it too so I am more to get things right put things in place as it scared growing up and it scars me now if I get things wrong. An informative piece just to see it from there own eyes, THANK YOU.

My son also has ADHD

Hello,

I am British mum living in Brunei at moment and would love to see this video but not allowed to download the streams from abroad - so annoying! My son is 15 and always problems in school and so many misunderstanding about his behaviour. I would love to show school a good clip to educate them about ADHD. Do you know any way of sending me this clip by email?

Thought it was worth a try ...

kind regards
Linda Cameron

i love it

it really portrays how people with ADHD are and feel.
its good that he is trying to get other people to understand the disorder because many people do not understand it..
